It's All A Wave Baby -
And waves come and go and come back again
Itâs All A Wave Baby
The ups - the downs - the lefts and rightsâŚ
Before the deep dive (which, if youâve been part of this community for a while isnât really that deep because who wants to read a newsletter for 15 minutes) I need to be honest about this edition. It will be shorter than most as I am currently riding the waves I will be talking about. And letâs just say Iâm not up on top of that wave right now. But alas, forward we go because sharing thoughts to help everyone, even myself when needed is what fills my heart.
So, back to the wave, last night I was painting some mugs for a custom order. My back was aching so I stood up for a few and jumped on instagram. The first thing that came up was what I actually needed.
An animated piece with a little blob dude reminding me that âitâs all a wave babyâ.
With that, I decided I needed to share it with all of you. Unfortunately I am unable to upload the video here so Iâll post it the best I can. Or the link will be down below to watch it.
Itâs goes like this -
âHiiiiiâŚâ
And then BOOM!
But you know whatâs dope about the scientific make up of the human body?
You float and you float and you floatâŚ
Not sure anyone can argue this fact or the above story line?
Question is, how can you get back up on the wave, how can you be settled at rock bottom to know that you will be back on top of that âbiggest most beautiful waveâ?
1. Take a deep breath! When life throws its challenges your way, it can be easy to let the stress of the situation get to you. Taking a few moments to breathe deeply and refocus can help you gain perspective and clarity.
2. Prioritize self-care: No matter what is going on in your life, make time for yourself. Whether it's taking a walk outside or simply enjoying a cup of tea, make sure that you are taking care of yourself so that you have the energy to handle whatever comes next.
3. Accept things as they are: Life doesn't always go according to plan, but try your best not to resist change too much. Instead, accept new circumstances with grace and use them as an opportunity to learn and grow.
4. Ask for help: It's okay to admit that you need help! Don't be afraid to reach out to your support system, whether it's friends or family, if you're struggling with something. They can provide invaluable guidance and a listening ear when things get tough.
5. Find the silver lining: Whenever life throws a curveball your way, look for the good in the situation - even if it's hard at first. The power of positivity can shift your energy and open new doors of opportunity you wouldn't have seen before! So keep on looking for those rays of sunshine and enjoy the ride!
6. Make waves - don't be afraid to make waves of your own; sometimes a bit of proactive action is just what's needed to break through a tough situation.
7. Stay positive - remind yourself that this too shall pass and try to keep things in perspective when facing an oncoming wave.
8. Don't sweat the small stuff - remember not to let minor inconveniences bog you down; focus instead on the bigger picture and plan for long-term success.
9. Keep paddling - never give up! Every stroke takes you closer towards shore, even if it doesn't always feel like it.
10. Find joy - find some moments of reprieve and joy amidst the waves; life's too short to be consumed by the struggles all the time! There you have it, 10 ways to handle life's waves - now go make some memories out there!
There is no right or wrong way to move through life. Do what works best for you and don't forget to treat yourself kindly!
I believe in you
