Every Strength Finds Weakness

No matter how strong you are, a time will come

No Matter How We Live

A short but powerful post. It’s not often I fill this newsletter with the words of others. However, I saw this and it struck a chord. Allow it to sink in?

No matter how long it lives, the greatest lion will eventually die miserably.

That’s the world

At their peak, they rule, chase other animals, catch, devour, gulp, and leave their crumbs for hyenas. But age comes fast.

The old lion can’t hunt, can’t kill or defend itself. It roams and roars until it runs out of luck. It will be cornered by hyenas, nibbled at and eaten alive by them. They won’t even let it die before it is dismembered.

Live is short, power is ephemeral. Physical beauty is short-lived. I have seen it in lions, I have seen it in old people. Everyone who lives long enough will become and very vulnerable at some point.

Therefor, let us be humble. Help the sick, the weak, the vulnerable and most importantly never forget that we will all leave this stage one day…”

With that, I want to add two little pieces to this newsletter before I wish you the best of days.

First, stop worrying about impressing others. Trying to e cool isn’t cool. Being you is what truly is cool. If others don’t like you as you, don’t worry about them.

Don’t worry about talking up yourself, don’t worry about wearing that pair of shades unless you truly love them for you, don’t worry about sharing all of your victories with the world when you can quietly rejoice in them. Heck, share your losses and those that stick around and lift you up, hold them close.

I suck at this part, but love yourself for you because you are pure magic.

The second is below. before you get there though, remember.

We all believe in you
