Becoming A CEO
Becoming a CEO is much easier than you may know
How To Become A CEO
Itâs a lot easier than you may believeâŚ
There is a friend in my life who, until recently, I would say is a good friend. Then last week I posted a video about âthose who want you to win will help you winâ.
Meaning they will support you and your directions. They will like your posts if thatâs what it takes, they will share your small business or what youâre doing, in one way or another they will let you know that their on your side.
So that thought I had about those that will help you win⌠This friend is so far from âthat help you win personâ, Iâm actually starting to think theyâre unintentionally doing the complete opposite and they go as far as to point out things they believe I am not doing âhow they them self would do themâ.
When in this scenario, the individual at hand isnât even where I want to be heading, has zero background in what I am doing and more. This actually goes full circle goes back to the post about âsurrounding yourself with the right people and to choose your circle for your current lifeâ letter which I will link below.
All that being said and without sliding down the rabbit hole any further, I began realizing that itâs time for you (me) to become a CEO.
So now, what if itâs your turn to be your very own CEO - where you can hire or fire anyone you need to from your life in order to grow your own light and shine as bright as you want to and can. What would you choose?
If youâre still on this tasty part of the newsletter, itâs safe to say youâre someone who's been dreaming of being in the driver's seat, and not just standing by idly as life passes by?
You realize itâs time to take control of YOUR life and become your own CEO!
Listen though, becoming a CEO of your own life doesnât mean becoming a tyrant or trying to control every aspect of your existence. It means taking ownership, setting goals, and making decisions that support those goals.
It all starts with setting clear objectives for yourself. What do you want to achieve with your life? Do you want to build a successful business, gain financial independence, travel around the world, or just lead a peaceful and fulfilling lifestyle? Once you have figured out what your main goal is, itâs time to start breaking down the steps needed to get there. This includes short-term and long-term objectives, such as developing a business plan or saving enough money for that dream vacation.
Taking ownership of your life also means taking responsibility for yourself, both mentally and physically. That means investing time in activities that improve your well-beingâwhether itâs physical exercise, meditation, or simply spending more time outdoors with nature. It also involves itâs time to plan out how you are going to get there.
You should also take the time to analyze your strengths and weaknesses, as well as any potential threats or opportunities that stand in your way. This will you create a strategy for success that is tailored specifically to you. Make sure to set-term and long-term goals, so you can track your progress over time and make adjustments if needed.
Finally, be sure to stay accountable for yourself You can do this by joining a support group of like-minded people, finding accountability partner who will check up on your progress, or even setting reminders for yourself on needs to be done each day.
It takes courage and discipline to become a CEO of your own life. But the rewards are immense, so donât let fear stand in the way of what you want to accomplish. Take the first step today, and start becoming the CEO of your life!
Good luck on your journey!
Tip Of The Week
From an email form I received:
Reader: âHi. I am having a hard time going to work. I donât enjoy the environment and feel as though my time would be spent better elsewhere. Do you have any advice?â
Tim: My advice is partially one sided and since youâre a reader of this news letter you probably have a pretty solid feeling about what my answer will be.
That being said, when was the last time you filled out a job application or sent your resume in to a new place of employment? I ask this because we should never stop sending our application in to new possibilities. And we should go on every interview that is open to us. Become a pro at the interview process so when the time comes, youâre already ahead of the game!
Iâm not saying take the job though-
However, If you become a pro at getting those interviews to happen. When the right time and position opens up, you wonât feel half as nervous and you will crush that interview and be able to do a life switcherooooo.
One of the worst things we can do is pigeon hole ourselves into the mundane and the unhappy.
To be yourself - without the showâŚ
When will this happen, when will more of us become who we are without the mask, without the need to have the approval of others, when we can be unapologetically us?
Lady Gaga - known for the unknown of what her next move did shows up in what I believe is her best performance to date. Sure, there was the Bradley Cooper and her performing Shallow together. Then thereâs this moment in time from last week.
Where she doesnât show up for âshowâ, doesnât show up for the âwow factorâ or anything of the sort but instead shows up in an unapologetic way of being HER.
While so many are using filters to become âprettierâ by what tech and computer programs state as being âprettyâ, Lady Gaga shows up in the most beautiful of ways. No make up, no fancy dress (or dress made of meat), no magic microphone changing her tonesâŚ
Instead, she did what so many of us should start doing. Showing up as you, unapologetically you. Take me or leave me, this is who I am âusâ..
Was I 100% won over before she even began the song, when she stated âyou might find that you can be your own hero even if you feel broken insideâ? Sure as fuck was. And then the rawness, the realness, all the things, did exactly what she hoped they would do.
My only hope is that even if one person, just one magical soul, releases the need for approval from others and can be just a little more âthemâ, then this performance was beyond perfect. Click the YouTube video down below to watch the real deal.
And for now, and alwaysâŚ
I believe you
~Tim
