Results Don't Always Matter

Or do they???

Doing Something For Enjoyment

That’s a new concept huh?

Really, it’s an old concept everyone seems to have forgotten about. It really seems as though one of the reasons things are be done now are for the “like”, the comment, the follow. The result.

Life doesn’t have to be like that, life doesn’t have to be about the approval of others or the result of that said “thing”.

What if you began to do things because you enjoy them?

Personally, I don’t write this newsletter for results or approval. I simply enjoy it. It’s another creative outlet to go with my piles of already used creative outlets.

The world we live in, created by none other than all of us, has somehow become a world of titles, new milestones, being a top placement in a sport, chasing the next million dollar idea. Are we missing out on one of the underlying reasons we may want to start doing things again. Because we enjoy them?

We don’t always shave to do something because it will result in income. Not every idea has to be a new business venture. And not every interest has to define who you are.

Some of this is not so easy for my own brain. I always want to create, be that art or business. I am learning though, that enjoyment is possible.

So maybe now is the time to start doing that thing because, ready for this, you simply want to do it? If it becomes duel purposed, great! If it turns into a new business, GREAT! It doesn’t have to though.

While I completely understand we all have our goals and destinations, maybe it’s time to bump happiness and enjoyment up the priority list and do the thing because you want to do the thing. Not for a like, not for a follow, not for anyone else but because YOU want to do it!

Forward We Go -

You know the other thing you’ve been doing. Sort of the opposite from the thing I talked about above? That thing you’re working toward, learning, taking on.

Just wanted to remind you that it’s okay if you’re not moving that fast toward it. It’s okay if you had to take a pause or taking smaller steps toward it right now. Just know that you got this! You are taking the steps needed and you are moving in the right direction - forward. Even if slow, be proud of yourself for getting there.

I believe in you,

~Tim
