Don’t Allow A Detour To Turn Into A U-turn

Are you forced to go Left when you were planning on taking a right?

There are times that life is going to do that. When you know where you want to go. You know how to get there. You’re well on your way and boom! There’s a tree in the road, a bridge is out, or power lines are down.

Your Choice In The Moment Makes The Difference

You are forced to shift gears and take a left turn to an unknown direction. It’s in that moment that your destination can be made or you can end up lost. You can start driving in that new direction upset, angry, frustrated, and give up.

Or you can take that new turn and see all the things around you and be thankful for this journey. Even if the road is dark and the street lights out, you can still choose to be witness of how beautiful the world is and know that you are still going to reach the destination you are working toward.

You might just need to make it through a new challenge, you may need to overcome new doubt, you may need to block out the voice of someone who’s never been where you are going that is trying to tell you how to get there. Or heck, even telling you to turn around.

That’s just how life is sometimes but you know what, it’s pretty freakin incredible that you are in this journey and if you didn’t know, you’re pretty incredible too and you can make it through this detour. This challenge. This dark time. You can and you will get to that destination and you will arrive at the exact moment you are supposed to.

To do that though, don’t give up. Please…. Don’t give up. I believe in you.

A Left Turn Can Be Simple

This left turn wasn’t a life changer. It was just a painting, I was painting orange slices. Fun right, but they came out awful, I hated them. That was just a small left turn. I smeared the paint across the canvas and created this painting. It’s not some gorgeous wonderful beautiful painting but let me tell you, it’s better than the oranges. LOL

All left turns won’t always be easy, if you can make the decision to accept that left turn and make the most out of it though, I promise it won’t be all that bad.
